This song is about Chad's dad and mom. At the end it mentions the birth of chad's sister, Farley. This is an amazing song as are the rest of the songs chad writes. The lyrics are amazing. Keep making music, Chad!! |

This song, pretty clearly, is about twin horses being born on chad's family farm when he was a kid, but one of the horses doesn't make it. The beginning of the song speaks about a man (who i presume is chad's father), and his watch, which one day will stop working. I think the song sends a message that there is a lot of injustice in the world but that's just "the way it works....the way it goes." This is one of my favorites on simmerkane II, the ending harmonies are very beautiful. |
