These are much closer to the real lyrics. I just listened to this song on my studio quality headphones and I can convincingly say that Brandon says: "Running out of Black Gold". And he isn't talking about "coffee", he's talking about Crude Oil, also known as black gold. Because in the next line he says: "It's high time I pulled over and walked around a while". Basically this stanza is talking about being irresponsible. Just like the world is with crude oil, its time that we all walk around, use less of it, and become more responsible. It makes much more sense with those lyrics.... especially compared to who ever thought it was "runnin' off black and goat". WTF!? LOL!! That poster must have been like, "What the heck is the song about!?". LMFAO. |
