| The way Jem counts down makes it so much more urgent and intense too.. o3o | |

Awesome song :D It's intense and epic and pretty deep... I also thought that it was about someone with a terminal illness and had limited time left to live. I guess I still think that; the suicide interpretation doesn't really make sense to me, like then who would be "His eyes said it all"? It seems like that's the doctor telling the woman about her inevitable death, and the next lines are an understandable reaction. And it definitely doesn't sound very happy either... although the wedding sounds like a nice interpretation too. ^^ Random thought but this somewhat fits Naomi (maybeRosaliatoonotreally) from Trauma Team~ XDDD |

| ATB – Ecstasy Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Love this song, the voices are really pretty and it just sounds awesome all together. :D Okay, so it seems like it's obviously about taking drugs (I mean, the title and she says all the symptoms) but after I think about it, it doesn't seem like it in this song. Besides, thinking so many songs are about drugs (unless it's intended to be and is very obvious) is a little depressing, so I prefer thinking it's about love. Anyway, the line "You really are my ecstasy" makes it seem like she's addressing a person, so it's not like she's talking to the drug. Ecstasy is the metaphor for the person. It could be someone she loves, but maybe it could be a drug dealer or the kind of person maryjanethizz is talking about, who fits the song just about perfectly but oh well. As I said, I like to be more positive, so I go with the former. And then she goes on about what it feels like. Apparently that's what it feels like doing ecstasy, but since it's a person she was talking about, it's probably referring to the person, not because she's taking literal ecstasy. "Keep on coming back for more" and "My real life fantasy" are about whomever she's talking about. Finally, the title; on first impression it might be obviously about ecstasy the drug. But if you were to write about a drug or something similar, I would think you'd make it more subtle and not put it straight out in the title... I mean, if there was a song titled "Nicotine" and in the lyrics "I can't stop coming back for more, you're my nicotine~", I doubt it's literally about cigarettes and coming back to it, unless the songwriter was super blunt. I dunno, it's just so obvious and outright that it has to be a metaphor. Soo yeah. Just my two cents and probably flawed train of thought, but I enjoy listening to the song more thinking like this. And ecstasy means happiness after all. Maybe that's the triple (or actual) meaning in the song? :P I'd like to think so. |

| Super catchy and happy and fun :D But I can see how it might be depressing.. o-o When I listened to it I just imagined a girl who was hiding the fact that she liked a guy more than she let on by pretending to tease him. But maybe not, the way she says "Kinda like this game" and "It's alright I'm getting dizzy just enjoy the party" like she doesn't care much. Ohwell, my first interpretation appeals to me more~ XP | |

| I love the melody and the way she sings the chorus ^^ and pretty much everything else haha. But thinking it's about drugs sorta ruins it.. though it really matches everyone's descriptions... oh well, I'm just gonna think it's about a girl head over heels in love with someone c: | |

| I really like the way it sounds but the lyrics do seem really dirty.. .__.; | |
| Morgan Page – Believe Lyrics | 14 years ago |

No comments? D: I love this along with Morgan Page's other songs~ I'm not too good at interpreting songs but I'll try because I love it so much. XD I think it's about a woman who's seen a vision of an apocalyptic future, and tried to warn the others, but they don't listen to her ("And I can see how you think I'm crazy"). The government/rulers were overthrown ("How did they get the control") and everything's just spinning out of control. She keeps hoping for a better future, maybe that they could all go somewhere else safe. Or that she dreams or thinks of the way thing used to be. I just don't understand the fourth stanza to the last. "Put my heart in your hands Till you squeeze all you can How you give me life to make me Oh my heart can you save me" Maybe she wants to sacrifice herself? Or she's talking to God? I can't really make sense of it, haha. ^^; |
