i agree with most parts. i think the part where he is like "If it's not keepin' you up nights then whats the point, then whats the point, then whats the point, then whats the point?" means that hes the one up all night upset and shes soundly sleeping it off. like he can fake it prestending he can just forgive her and that it doesnt phase him when shes the one ACTUALLy acting like it. and the turned on part maybe he loves her so much he gives in to sex to make her like him more. |

I'll leave the lights down low so she knows I mean business And maybe we could talk this over Cause I could be your best bet Let alone your worst ex And let alone your worst... --- this part stresses the buisness part of making it serious.. making it a serious 'we need to talk' about our relationship kind of breakup. it can either go lightly, and can be mutual or he can end up being her worst ex and ruining her live and being on not good terms. I wanna hate you so bad But I can't (but I can't) stop this anymore than you can -- even IF it were to be a bad relationship break up, he can't hate her. no matter what. his feelings for her are so strong that no matter how much he tries to be her 'worst ex' he cant. they don't hate eachother. So honestly, how could you say those things when you know they don't mean anything? And you know very well that I can't keep my hands to myself, hands to myself - the point of the breakup was probably because saying things such as 'i'm in love with you' or 'your the only one for me' don't mean anything when in the end one of them couldnt keep their hands to themselves and ended up cheating or fooling around with another person. even though they still love eachother. they werent exclusive. This is all wrong and it shows There's certain things I promised not to let you know, (I've got a silly way of keepin' you up on the edge of my seat, I've got a silly way of keepin' you up on the...) not to let you know I never let you, never let you, never... --- He wouldn't tell his girlfriend essential things that would have contributed to the trust in their relationship. like possibly where he was at times.. if he cheated, if he did things that he promised not to, or etc. he kept her up all night wondering and would lie to her and tell himself he would never tell her all the wrongdoings or things that would ruin their relationship. You've got this silly way of keepin' me on the edge of my seat But you're only countin' the clock against the train And I'm miserable, oh (I've got a silly way of keepin you up on the edge of my seat, I've got a silly way of keepin you up on the...) And you're just getting started I'm miserable, oh And you're just getting started -- he was miserable in the relationship while she was just starting to fall harder for him. could be vice versa. im not sure. as she falls more in love, hes going behind her back and doing bad things and falling out of love if he ever was in it at all. could be the other way around. You've got me right where you want me (let's never talk about this again) Let's never talk, let's never, let's never talk about this again because... I didn't want it to mean that much to me I didn't want it to mean that much to me I didn't want it to mean that much to me I didn't want it to mean that much to me - never talking about it again is avoiding the situation and problems which could have led to the downffall of their relationship. the cheating or talking to the other girls and jealousy actually ended up maybe as more than a fling or a chat to him.. and he may have become more interested in a nother girl. hes dismissing the problems and running away. having him right where she wants him leads me to believe that now she found out and he feels like he should do everything to bow down to her now that he knows he messed up. she has power over him. but IDK thats my opinion omg. |
