Coldplay – Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall Lyrics 14 years ago
I believe this song is about being young.
I took a more literal translation to it when he talks about 'all the kids'. This song captures the essence of young adulthood (around high school/ college age).
Especially the line 'every siren is a symphony, and every tear's a waterfall.' college kids are known for getting into trouble with their rebellious parties. its the rebel part of every generation. so sirens are something all too familiar. every tear being a waterfall i think represents the extreme emotions younger people experience. Every little thing seems like a much much bigger thing. Just like a little tear being a waterfall.

Great Lake Swimmers – Where In The World Are You Lyrics 14 years ago
I think it's about someone searching for themselves. "Churches and bars" are the typical places people go after something tragic has happened in their lives like a breakup or an accident, etc. But they wouldn't be looking for another person in those places. They would be looking to find themselves. So this person is going from place to place trying to find who they really are after something has caused them to forget. The "oncoming cars" part could even be talking about suicide. Going to extremes because of frustration or something.

Horse Feathers – Eyes Full of Rose Lyrics 14 years ago
I love this song. Horse Feathers is one of those bands that you really have to listen to to discover what they're trying to say. The words they say don't seem to make sense at first, but you still FEEL what they are saying. It's amazing :)
I believe this song is about a man watching the girl he loves with another guy. "they move, they touch, perhaps too much."
