i couldn't agree more, i listen too the music and the words and i envisage the last dance you will ever make, to waltz with death himself. "we are the lucky ones" suggests we who are left behind but also those who have passed on, i think probably the later when you take other lyrics into consideration "we shine like a thousand suns" represents the soul brightness of the soul "when all the colours run together" colours represent the world of the living which no longer has meaning to the dancer. "Ill keep you company" your partner for the dance "In one glorious harmony" not certain but think it might represent losing the restraints of life to be in harmony with everything "waltzing with destiny forever" to enter into the eternal after life "dance me into the night" says i am ready let us begin the dance "underneath the full moon shining so bright" the moon represents the end of the day/end of the life "Turning me into the light" taking me to heaven "Time dancers whirling past" represents those left behind for whom time still has meaning "I gaze through the looking glass" the glass represents the barrier between life and death seeing those left behind. "And feel just beyond my grasp is heaven" means you can't move on while you hold on to what you left behind "Sacred geometry" represents seeing the plan of the universe "Where movement is poetry" where everything flows exactly as its supposed "Visions of you and me forever" Knowing that we will be together again forever. "Dance me into the night Underneath the full moon shining so bright Turning me into the light Dance me into the night Underneath the full moon shining so bright" repeated same as before but now without reservation "Let the dark waltz begin" so what are we waiting for let get going "Oh let me wheel - let me spin" denotes excitement about what is happening "Let it take me again" represent giving yourself over "Turning me into the light" Death leads us in dance to heaven. combine this with the music itself and you really get the sense of someone giving them self over to Death, dancing with him to heaven till you slowly disappear. |
