Don McLean – American Pie Lyrics 14 years ago
It actually gets funkier than that, with the "quartet" part, did you know that at one point there was a member in the beatles, called "Stuart Sutcliffe". And at that time they were 5 members, not the famous 4.and if you see the lyrics it says "And while Lennon read a bork of Marx, the quartet practiced in the park". It could be that he was reffering to the beatles as the group that was once a 5-man group and later became the famous 4-man group, he could be reffering to that.

Billy Idol – Dancing With Myself Lyrics 14 years ago
Freud is not taken serious anymore? Based upon exactly what information? No trust me, his theories may have been defied, but I can tell you that there are still many parts of his theories that are taken seriously nowadays. Believe me, I study psychology in the university and I personally don't like his theories and I also think that his theories are bollocks, but I can assure you that unluckily they are taken very seriously. After all I spent almost three months studying only about Freud. He's one hell of a sick bastard. Think about it, nowadays the cases of Oedipus complexity are based on his Psycholoanalytic Theory, the one written in his book of "The Interpretation of Dreams".

Billy Idol – Dancing With Myself Lyrics 14 years ago
Well... you can't quite say he "wrote" the song, since he didn't write it. Its a cover, the original version is by a band from the 1960's called Generation X or Gen X, and when he came to New York for the first time, he heard this song being played by some other group. That's when he decided to do a cover of it. However its more commonly known the version of Billy Idol, because in the 80's it became a great hit, while in the 60's it was all about Rock'and'Roll, the decade of the baby boomers music. And its most definitely not about masturbation, the original by Generation X is about the lonelyness or rather lack of identity the members of Generation X felt like they had in that era. Yes, its true that later, after visiting Japan, Billy was inspired by how in the discos the japanese kids where "dancing by themselves", but nonetheless the original version of this song is by Gen X.
