Why would he be upset she's leaving? Yeah he might be upset, but that line isn't how HE feels. She says "you color my eyes red", which means SHE is crying. She knows it's not working and she wants it done. |

Basically, she is leaving because she knows she needs to get out of it. If he "colors her eyes red", it means she is crying which most likely means she is unhappy. And she knows being unhappy is not healthy. |
