| I think it's about how when you love someone but they aren't there so you are left alone and you find out he's not looking for you. Then you have to kind of go on with life alone, and you're waiting for the right person to come along...the one you were meant to be. You're kind of searching for that person and whenever you are with someone you try to have good memories with them. This song is so sad because I can totally relate. I might be wrong though and it being about loving someone that doesn't love you back though. | |

This is how I see this song...I'm sure it has more than one meaning :) It's a great song. "Your subtleties, they strangle me I can't explain myself at all And all that wants and all that needs All I don't want to need at all" I think this means that he is tired of her playing games on him and not making up her mind on who she wants. He doesn't know what she wants or who she wants at this point but he wants her to make up her mind. He wants her yet at the same time he doesn't, and he doesn't want to want her anymore. "The walls start breathing My mind's unweaving Maybe it's best you leave me alone A weight is lifted on this evening I give the final blow" I think this means he finally realized that he can be without her and he needs to take a break from her. It could be that maybe he found out she cheated on him, maybe she lied or maybe she didn't do anything wrong but he just doesn't feel the same for her. He could also still love her but she loves someone else and he realizes he needs to leave before he gets hurt. He wants her to stop talking to him so it'll be easier on him when she leaves or when she and the guy get serious. I think when he says he gives the final blow he means he is finally going to end this relationship or he's finally going to stop talking or hanging out with her to make it easier on both of them (they might not even be in a relationship at all, but maybe he wants to be in a relationship with him but she only sees him as a friend or at least pretends to see him as a friend.) "When darkness turns to light It ends tonight, it ends tonight" I think this means that when the night ends they will no longer be apart of each other's lives. "A falling star Least I fall alone I can't explain what you can't explain You're finding things that you didn't know I look at you with such disdain" This means that he would rather be unhappy without her than unhappy with her and he's happy he's single again or he's happy she is no longer in his life. He can't explain really what went wrong but he knows something went wrong with them somewhere. He looks at her now with hatred because of something she did or didn't do. "Just a little insight Won't make this right It's too late to fight It ends tonight, it ends tonight" If she explains why she did or didn't do something it won't make the situation any better and it won't make him change his mind about ending this. He doesn't want to fight, he just wants to leave and for her to leave him alone. "Now I'm on my own side It's better than being on your side It's my fault when you're blind It's better that I see it through your eyes All these thoughts locked inside Now you're the first to know" This means that he is no longer in a relationship or in her life anymore. He's finally telling her his thoughts on this relationship, and she's the first to know about it. That's just how I see it. It's a great song though ;) |

| This is Andy's song to his fans. Andy said himself it was dedicated to and for his fans :). He's basically saying he will always be there for you during your deepest, darkest, saddest moments and if you need someone to lean on or look forward to he is always going to be there no matter what. It's like his promise to you. If you're a religious person it could also be about God, but that wasn't what Andy was trying to make it about. It's a very beautiful song. One of my favorites off the new album actually <3 | |

| This song (to me anyway) is about how you love a guy but they love someone else and you know in your heart you have to move on. When it says 'what am I supposed to do? Sit around and wait for you?' That's about how he loves someone else and she can't just sit back and watch this. Then it says 'no matter how hard I try, you keep pushing me aside and I can't break through.' I think this means that she has tried time and time again to prove that she is a fun and good person, but he keeps going back to the other person no matter how hard she tries to make him see. Then it says 'there's no talking to you' which to me means that either they can't talk to each other or she's ignoring him. You're pretty much faced with a choice at this point; to strut away and try to rebuild your life after loving that person for so long or to stay and watch him be happy with someone else and continue to just be his friend. :( | |
