i thought it was about NY too and i think it takes place in NY but i think the song is about cheating... cause he sings why why, tell them its human nature why why does he do me that way? so i take it as people ask why why and his responde is its human nature and hir girl ask herself why does he do me this way. But I think he made it so it sounds like he sings about NY cause cheating maybe not somehting you tend to sing about. And when his singsif this town is just an apple let me take a bite, you think the big apple, but i think he means temptation like in garden of eden. And electric eyes is the lust you see in someone else's eyes... but i cant garantee thats what he meant but that the message i get :) |
