This is obviously about everything she had to go through in her life these past couple of years. Yes, she might be directing portions of this song at someone specific - like the media, or perhaps a blogger who made fun of her struggles.... But i really think this is mostly for her own benefit, as a response to her inner struggles.......and i tell ya, i've never been into music from people like Demi, or the Jonas Brothers, or Hannah Montanna, or Bieber-boy....but i'm in LOVE with this song. You can hear the passion in her voice when she sings now, and it's so much more than some teeny-bopper crap. I'm officially a fan of Demi L., and i hope the rest of her new album is mature and impassioned like this!! =D |

Oh man this is one of my favorite Anna Nalick songs!! If my guitar wasn't broken, i'd do a cover of this for youtube!!! *sigh* But anyways, i'm thinking this song is from the perspective of a man who is going through a separation/divorce, and is reflecting on him and his gf's/wife's lives as it lead up to their union/marriage, and then now - their separation/divorce....an of course i'm thinking the girl in the story, is Anna. OR, it could be the girl, Anna, singing about the man and how she perceives his perspective of their lives together and then their spereation . I mean i could totally before wrong, and don't want to sound like i'm saying i know for sure this is what the song is about....it's just what i'm thinking. I can't stress though how BEAUTIFUL this song is.......please listen to it if you haven't already!! =D |
