(+44) – Baby Come On Lyrics 14 years ago
I really don't think this is a song about a guy taking advantage of a girl. I feel like maybe they were in a relationship before and they still have feelings for each other, so they have sex and she's crying because she misses him. He tells her to "quit crying her eyes out" because he hates to see her cry and knows that it's killing him too. All the alcohol references make me think that they know what they're doing is wrong, so they have to be drunk.

I don't know why but this song makes me so sad. Really powerful.

Fall Out Boy – Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner Lyrics 14 years ago
Wow, Pete Wentz is absolutely a lyrical genius; he deserves way more credit, especially for an incredible song like this. I have been crazy in love with this song since I was in sixth grade, I would say it's in my top two or three favorite songs of all time, ever. The great thing about Fall Out Boy songs is that they're so quirky and weird that you can interpret them to mean whatever you want, or how they apply to your life. I find this song timeless; I've listened to it for the past five years and the meaning changes for me from time to time. Just for fun, I'll try

Queens of the Stone Age – No One Knows Lyrics 14 years ago
I couldn't tell you what this song is about-- it's so awesome that I'm pretty sure no one cares. This is just an all-around amazing song; the lyrics (whatever they might mean) are cool, Homme's vocals sound great, Dave Grohl beats the shit out of those drums, and the melody is so original and completely insane. One of the best songs around; I'm sure it's because Dave Grohl is a part of it;)

Foo Fighters – Generator Lyrics 14 years ago
Picking my favorite Foo Fighters song would be like picking between your children, because I love them all so much! But if I really thought about it, there's no doubt that Generator is my favorite. I think this song is so beautiful; I don't know that it is necessarily a love song, but I find the lyrics very romantic. I feel that the song is about a dysfunctional relationship that's on the verge of falling apart. Because one person loves their partner so much, they are the "generator" trying to bring their love back to life. The chorus of this song is amazing; I love the line "you go out and it's on." Such a great song, I will be brokenhearted if they don't play it on tour!

Foo Fighters – Everlong Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is so absolutely beautiful and simple, probably the Foo Fighters best of all time. The meaning of this song is open to interpretation, I think it's definitely a love song, possibly interpreted in a sexual way. "Everlong" is that moment that you want to last forever, something you've been waiting for and means everything you. To me, this song is about reliving that perfect moment because the person it includes may not be in your life anymore and the memory is all you have left. The chorus really makes me think that this person is probably not in your life anymore just because of the lyric "if anything could ever be this good again." I take that to mean that nothing will ever be that good again so reliving the moment is the closest you will get. Despite how silly and quirky the music video is, it is a loose portrayal of what I'm trying to say. In other words, "everlong" is a rare occurrence where everything is so unbelievably perfect that you know nothing could ever be as good again.

Fall Out Boy – Homesick at Space Camp Lyrics 14 years ago
This is one of Fall Out Boy's bests, for sure. The lyric "my smile's an open wound without you" is absolutely brilliant, just because it's so meaningful.. Think about what it's really trying to say, basically that without that one person you love, your smile means nothing and is even a hindrance ("open wound"). In other words, that one person is the reason you smile and without them, you're in pain. The rest of the song is very interpretative, as are most FOB songs. That's the wonder of them, each song is witty and very creative, therefore each song relates to a person in different ways and means whatever you want it to mean.
