Man, i never fail to relate to these songs. i think this is a comment on dysfunctional relationships as a whole. I kind of get two people, sick in there own way, doing nothing but destroying eachother further. They stayed together so long because when you love someone, you do. I think that the male in the relationship ( or atleast when max sings it) wanted to help or save eloise. But he in turn was just someone thing she used to help herself possible get over another issue. That in itself is not a good relationship to be in. I think shes like the girl in less cute, and he is the guy in skinny mean man. But now after all that, the relationship ultimately fails, be he isnt what she wants, she just does want to be alone and so she abuses that. He in turn wont leave the relationship at first and because of it he just sinks into a further fragile state. I think at some point we are all both sides of this relationship. I think this song though is the point where you cant take anyone, and you call it a day. And even though your in pain you begin to heal. and you can start moving on. Thats what i got anyway, im probably just seeing that though because being in a relationship like that now, i relate everything to it. |

| Okay, this is probably dragging up something old but i wanted to clear something up. In the same way 'admit it!' calls out people following the scene and trends, is the same way that its commenting on passionless 13 year old. Thats not to say that all 13 year olds are that way, just that a group of them are just that way. so you taking offence doesnt really make sense? Unless your agreeing to the premise that you are a passionless 13 year old? i thought not. Its cool that you like how he comments on these issues, cause i face alot of them day to day aswell. But im just saying, chill on the anger and confrontation. | |
