"He wants to take him/her away?"

Quote, "Send in the chopper-"

I think you're right about that. ;)

Radiohead – Where Bluebirds Fly Lyrics 14 years ago
We all have to remember this is an instrumental (well, a semi-instrumental). Though, I have just had a thought. Thom's vocals are covered up by the music. As there are rumours of the lyrics being "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", distorted perhaps, you can't hear him sing the rumoured song.

The message is that we can't have a perfect world, and it won't change. The electronic music is the censor, showing that we can't have a colourful, blooming, flowery world. Thom is shouting over the music, trying to spread a message, but the music keeps blocking his cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" out.

I'm only guessing, but still. One of the most mysterious and strange songs (semi-instrumental, I don't know) ever composed by Radiohead, yet a brilliant composition of electronics performed. I love this. :D

I think this song is talking about an old relationship that Thom cannot forget.

"I walk down the staircase - Magnetic pull". Thom can't resist meeting her again, and wants her to come back.
"The pot is full - Of secrets to be told". Thom wanted to know her better. It was such a short relationship, Thom doesn't want to go back to the "other place", a lonely, gloomy place. He feels like he is missing something. I'm not really sure how to explain it really (since I'm a dumbass 13 year old lol), a complex way of singing about love being an emotion - a jigsaw fitting the rest of the puzzle.

I adore this song, it beats TKOL by a million miles, like Supercollider and The Butcher. Just brilliant.
