| Snake is indeed a snake shaped draught excluder. At their greys anniversary concert last month they raffled off snake although it turned it wasn't they original (sadly lost) but one Scott's mum had made for the occasion. Snake was rainbow coloured so they decided he was a gay snake. Wheels was the name they gave to their car. "We were very literal people" he said | |

Typo is right. It is an ode to the School of Art.Scott said that he wrote the song imagining the building was an old man and this is his conversation with him. I take the meaning to be meeting him when he was full of lemonade (a young man just out of school), strode boldly in bold clothes covering the fear (a young student just out of school arriving at this famous place). Spending four years inside you (studying) etc etc there are a few misheard lyrics: "With barely a love of fear" should be "barely a love affair" "Dashed down the stream" should be "Dashed down the street" "You threw the greed that I have you" should be "With the degree that I gave you" I really love this song as well. Everything this band does is gold dust even little B sides like this one |
