| Slow Runner – She Wants to Wrap Her Legs Around the World Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I love this song. It's about a guy and a girl that have had some sort of history. She's a mess, very miserable. So she gets drunk and goes to see the guy (maybe she doesn't want to go home or something...). The guy hears her voice so he "pulls the chain and lets her in". "She smells like gin and cigarettes But she moves against you close And the closeness makes you melt" - She smells of cigarettes and alcohol (she doesn't smell so good) but she moves close to him and he can't resist her closeness. He "melts". "You're melting on the floor" - I'm not sure about this one, but i think he sits down on the floor with her for a while before "reaching up to lock the door". I'm not sure though... "You know you should just call a cab, pour some coffee and sit her down. Instead you're clearing off the bed" - He's thinking that what he's doing is not the right thing to do. He knows that. He should sit her down and give her some coffee and then send her home. But no, instead he's clearing off the bed. "Her keys are in her shoes, And her makeup's in her hair And her hair is everywhere" - I'm guessing that the guy notices all these things when he's taking off her clothes. Otherwise, how would he know that her keys are in her shoes right? "And push it into you" - There's a little part of him that doesn't want to. Because she's drunk but also because of their history. But the girl kinda forces him to make love to her. Not in a bad way though, she's not like threatening him! "The good part and the bad part" - I'm not totally sure about this line either. But i think the good part is the closeness, the love. And the bad part is that he knows that they can't be together. They tried and it didn't work. "Bring an old feeling back that's gone, gone, gone" - orgasm? Or maybe the "somebody-loves-me"-feeling. I don't know... "No one's judging you- it's a cold world out there, after all. We do what we have to do," - They're both miserable and need a little love at that moment. So they do it. They make love. "so you hold her while she moves, and she's pulling on your neck, her heels are digging in your back. The street outside is wet and quiet..." - It's quiet. Exept for the rain outside. Now, i've been having some trouble with the line "she wants to wrap her legs around the world". If you're not reading to much into it, "wrap her legs around" means like... having sex. But "around the world"? I can't think of anything right now. Maybe i will afterwards... Any ideas? |

"those three words, are said too much, they're not enough" i think that means that the words "i love you" are said too often. you know how some people sometimes say that they love eachother when they're saying goodbye or when they give eachother stuff etc.? i'm not saying that it's wrong to say "i love you" everyday 'cause i do it too sometimes. but when it becomes an everyday-thing it loses its meaning and depth. so when you're in love with someone and really LOVE that person and want to tell him/her that, the words "i love you" just doesn't seem to be enough because it has become an everyday-thing to most people. i think that everybody ruines it for everybody. anyway, it's just a thought. you don't have to agree. |

I think this song's about a guy that is with a girl that had a "dark past of broken hearts", she's gotten her heart broken many times. and that she pretends like everything's okay, she "puts her words in a fancy dress". "But no longer, it's not getting stronger, no longer for me" means that ever since she met the guy, she stopped pretending. and it's not getting better, it's not getting "stronger" "But you don't wanna think no more, passed out on your bedroom floor" she started taking pills or something. "I must say that I worry for you.... you can't live like this no more." the guy is saying that he's worried but the girl doesn't listen. "A man once made a key, to open her dark heart, he broke apart what was once in love, but it's clear now to see, that man, he was me" he kinda blames himself, he thinks that he's causing her pain and misery. "And so I go afar, far, away from here, Don't you follow me" he wants to leave because he thinks that she'll be better if he left. and maybe the "don't you follow me" part means that the girl loves him and he doesn't want him to leave, or something... |

| I think this song is about drugs. I mean, I don't do drugs but I've seen people on tv that are high and/or drunk and they usually just say really random things that make no sence whatsoever. the lyrics are really random, so I'm guessing it's about drugs, about being high, maybe? | |

| Veronica Maggio – Jag Kommer Lyrics | 14 years ago |
