I think when she's saying "when the light hits your eyes" she's meaning that he passed. Think about all the crime shows we have all watched. They shine a light in the person's eyes to see if the pupils contract. "I'll lie and you'll believe," because he is already gone. |

Does anyone else think maybe she is talking about taking too many pills on purpose and giving in to death? All I am reading is that she is in an abusive relationship. I think differently. "Just tonight, I will stay" alive? In the video she switches between a white and black dress. Hmmm... something to think about. I would love feedback since this song and other's interpretations have me interested. |
