| Insomnium – Medeia Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| Someone who has wasted his life with a partner who has in some way deeply betrayed him, the song is sort of written to her and tells her that whilst his pain will fade away she will have to live with what she did forever. It may even be a sort of suicide note. | |

At first i thought it was about the big bang but the 3rd paragraph kind of writes that off. It seems to me after reading it a few times that this is about a guy who dies and see's the journey to the afterlife, but is revived after being dead for a short period of time and reawakens before he completes his journey. |

"You will one day rise" "To flood the banks of the chosen" You will one day be forced to ask for help because you have so many problems your stream (your problems) has grown so much it has flooded the banks of the chosen which i can only assume means your problems have actually started to affect other people they have got so out of control. I will show you all that I have mastered Fear. Pain. Hatred. Power. All are negative except Power, by this i think he is trying to say sure you get the powerful feeling of not requesting help when it is needed, but you also get those other 3 negative traits along with it. |

Gotta agree with metalhasthebestlyrics, this song really seems like a warning to those who are too proud to ask for help. Interestingly i found this passage from the bible. "Pride will have a fall. Those that are of a haughty spirit, that think of themselves above what is meet, and look with contempt upon others, that with their pride affront God and disquiet others, will be brought down, either by repentance or by ruin." Solace as a noun used in this song means "Comfort in sorrow, misfortune, or distress." The silence of not asking for help when it is needed speeds up this process to Solace. This metaphorical stream is clearly not a positive place, brooks babbling with the sounds of torture. "This is the resolution The end of all progress The death of evolution It bleeds all life away." Basically saying that without help from others we can not progress and if we don't work together we will die out. Just my view but i thought the mention of ruin in the bible verse was very interesting. |

| Insomnium – Weather the Storm Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Yep its about never giving up, no matter what you face or have faced in the past and about not not doing things because you're afraid you will fail, you only get one life so live with no regrets and do what you aspire to do and let nothing alter or stop you on that path. It's a very inspirational song. | |

paragraph 6 of these lyrics is wrong, instead of "Always the same My tired eyes have seen enough". its "Never again, my shattered eyes have seen enough" listen to 2.14 of the actual song, if someone wants to edit that. |
