| Imogen Heap – Hide and Seek Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I've been reading a lot of the interpretations of this song. They vary from a child's point of view of a breakup, a mistress realizing that her lover has a life beyond her, and even someone talking about imperialism. Now, frankly, I imagine that Miss Heap meant it to be a mistress' distress. How I interpret it personally is completely different, whether the song artist has the same opinion or not. This song is so beautiful, and one can absorb it with any sort of feeling/insight that they would like, because its just that amazing. I love this song. Have and will for a long time, I'm sure. The beauty of it is the fact that it can be taken in so many ways, even as imperialism, which I still find very original. Great artists also seem to take that into consideration, which is why you don't often see artist's publishing why they composed a song. Just though I'd put this out there, though I'm sure I'm not the first. | |
