| Alexlayer is right. I read an interview with DJ Ashba online and he said that James Michael saw a thing on the news about a girl named Amy who lost both of her legs in a tragic skiing accident and he just got so emotionally wrapped up in her story that he sat down and wrote this song about her. Then he sent it to Nikki and DJ and they both loved it and said it had to go on the album. I can semi-relate to this song, I mean, I don't have any physical or mental handicaps but I am used to people judging me without even getting to know me. This songs makes me teary-eyed literally every time I listen to it... | |
