Cold War Kids are my favourite band. This song is one of my favourites on the new album, the whole album blows me away, as always. This song gets me emotional every time and I have cried to it. I can relate to it. Two years ago I was the one in the song who is acting like nothing is wrong while keeping my humour in tact and lying, lost. He acted strong and tried so badly to communicate with me plainly, I was being wild and learning and disconnected. But we made it through it. :) The line, 'Will you come back down if I let you go?' is what gets me everytime and the chorus' 'We're playing for the same team'. AMAZING SONG. |
