I think this song can be interpreted many ways and I know when I first heard it I thought of this person that was once my "best friend". It could be mental or physical abuse... for many years I put up with a fair-weather-friend and I can imagine them realizing I am letting them go. It can be about any kind of break up such as a friendship or relationship. Also I had a thought that "you're knocking on my window" - could mean that because the person is letting them go the thoughts of them are now haunting them at night. |

I know exactly how she feels... even though the song comes from a situation a teenager can relate to... I understand Gaga's need to vent! You don't get over things like that.. I wasn't a cool kid in school either. My mom wouldn't let me do anything with my hair until I was 18. Even though I am 26 now I can still relate to it... this is a great song. The way she sings some parts in this song it reminds me of old-school whitney houston. |

I think that is what makes the album so great, because it shows she is maturing and writing songs she wants to write, instead of the overly-sex-driven music we hear over and over and over. I am 26 and this is the first album in YEARS that I love 100% |
