And then comes the instrumental part which in my ears sound a lot like a school shooting. Metallica has used guitars to simulate machine guns before(disposable heroes) and the fast riffs do sound like a machine gun. He knows that school shootings is not an option for him because to him it's madness but in the end he has been pushed so hard that he has become insane and is laughing as he shots his fellow students(The laughing being the higher pitched fast riffs together with the sound of the gun, while the low is just the gun). This is just my interpretation. |

I believe that the song is called Orion because it has got some type of out of the world sound. And to keep up with the whole control theme on master of puppets, I would say that Orion is mighty and therefore cannot be controlled. |

To me it is clear. The song is about drugs and how they control you. The song starts with a junkie on some sort of drugs. During the song the junkie has had enough. He silences the voice in his head(the master) by refusing to do drugs any longer and because he is now clean his life becomes silent and peacefull(the silent part of the song). Unfortunately the beautifull part doesn't last forever. As time goes on he becomes more and more desperate and he calls out for the master "Master, master, where's the dreams that I've been after? Master, master, you promised only lies Laughter, laughter, all I hear and see is laughter Laughter, laughter, laughing at my cries" He is not completely free from the master's grasp and he is once again captured when he shouts: "Fix me" The we have the fast solo. It is faster and harder than the other parts of the song because he has been clean for some time now and he has gotten used to being clean. After the solo he is addicted once again and he eventually dies at the hands of the master(thus the laughter at the end). |

I like the hunting for a young woman idea very much but there are some things that bothers me. If the song is about hunting for women, then what is Waidmanns Heil. I am also wondering about the beast which much die but I guess it is his lust that he wants to kill. Making his lust the beast. |

OMG "The end of the line" is extremely similiar to "Master of Puppets" because both songs are about a person addicted to some sort of drug. He then during the song escapes the drugs, but he falls back in to the trap, gets an overdose and die from it. The whole drug thing is pretty obvious and needs no examples but the reason I think he escapes but falls back and dies may need some explaining. "As we gather here today We bid farewell... The slave becomes the master" A supporting group that is fighting the drug abuse. And since the slave becomes the master, the old master(the drugs) becomes the new slave(because he is clean/sober) "The slave becomes the master Need more and more Right now and ever after Need more and more" He is so confident in his own will power and his power as the master that he is doing the drugs once again. Hence the "need more and more" which refers to drugs "We gather here today Say goodbye Cause you've reached the end of the line" The supporting group gathers once again but this time at his funeral(the place to say goodbye) |

I think there are three different interpretations to this song. 1. Rammstein is criticizing the teenage boys because they are extremely narcissistic and because they are so metrosexual that they may as well grow a vagina and a pair of breasts. 2. Rammstein is telling us to accept ourselves and love ourselves no matter how different we might seem/be. To love ourselves even if we do have both a tit and a tat. 3. It is about the feeling you have when you love someone so much that you are basically one. I could give you examples but I am to lazy, so pick the one you like the most and find the examples you want to see. |
