From what I hear from the song and see from the the video this song has two meanings... 1 young guy so doped from drugs he was put in an mental institute and is crying for his mom... 2 this is a young man living an everyday dreary life, every decision he has made in his life is catching up with him. If you watch the video it shows the bird going the stages in life... meet a female, make babies, buying food.... witch all come chasing you often as they are the bills we pay on a regular basis... making us go back to work and having poeple stomp all over us.... guy like that can only wish to forget about it all and go back to living with momma. In the video when he yells out momma the bird is surrounded by by trees like he is looking for the tree that he came from... The "bills" stop chasing him and he dances around like he succeded.... but its a place for him to dream. |
