| Go Radio – Why I'm Home Lyrics | 14 years ago |

To me this song sounds like its about coming home to a girl he cares about. "And let you know that you're the reason why I'm home." He loves her, but she doesn't feel the same anymore. Maybe she cheated on him, but doesn't know that he knows. "Just don't think that this will be easy saying that you love me lying tongues are clumsy." She's lying about everything being okay, and is saying she loves him, when in reality, he knows everything isn't okay. "And when what we love we burn, its from the ashes that we yearn to be the phoenix that rises up from the flames." She 'burned' their relationship by cheating, but he's yearning to 'rise up from the flames' and forgive her for it, if it will keep them together. He still cares about her, and he wants her to stay, no matter what she did. "And I could paint you pictures all night long. And tell you tales how every song is to let you know that every song is to let you know you're the reason why I'm home. Or I could quote a page of poetry show you all you mean to me and we'd go falling somewhere faster knowing we don't want to ever fall at all." He's willing to make her fall for him again, if she'll let him. Just my two cents!(: |

| Every Avenue – Think Of You Later Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I kind of agree with all the comments. I think its about a guy breaking things off with his girl, but he obviously still cares about her. "I miss the long drives, the car rides, The bad fights, the good times; The way you make me feel will never leave my mind." Its obvious that the two aren't able to be together anymore, but that his feelings for her are true. I agree with the thought that the song refers to a long distance relationship, because of "The long drives, the car rides", but I also think it is about a break up because he's saying he misses it, and the way she makes him feel will never leave his mind, no matter where he goes. I think that although he really cares about her, he needs time to sort things out in his life, but all the while he's going to be thinking about her. He obviously wants her back, "This is see you later, I'm not into good-byes" but maybe he cannot be with her at the time. He wants her to "Quit crying, and wipe the tears from her eyes" because he doesn't want her to forget how much he cares about her, and that he'll be there for her. The reason I think this is because I can see this song fitting into a situation I'm still kind of in. I was with a guy that was hurt really bad by an ex-girlfriend, and although I tried to help him with stuff, he was still haunted by his past, and cut things off between us, but still told me he had feelings for me, and that he never quit thinking about me. I could see this song being for the same kind of situation because he obviously loves everything about this girl, and thinks of her often. Even if he can't be there for her in the way she wants it, he's still willing to be her friend, because he cares about her. |

| Taylor Swift – Come in with the Rain Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I think this song is about a relationship that the boy ended, saying he needed some time to think, and figure things out. She is saying she's gonna back off, and give him the time, because he has hurt her, but maybe because he is hurt by something in his past, and he needs time to figure it out. She's not going to try to chase after him anymore, but simply be there for him if he needs her, leaving the 'Window open". However, she really cares about him and wants him to come back to her soon. "I'll leave my window open, cause I'm too tired tonight to call your name. Just know I'm right here hoping that you'll come in with the rain." Although she cares deeply about him, she doesn't want to try too hard, and she wants to let him come to her after he has had his time to think. "Talk to the wind, talk to the sky, talk to the man with the reasons why, and let me know what you find." This shows he needs time, and he's thinking, and talking to God to try and figure things out, and she hopes that when he does figure things out, he'll come back and 'let her know what he finds'. However, she doesn't want him be gone too long, because she's scared she'll lose him for good. "Talk to yourself, talk to the tears, talk to the man who put you here, but don't wait for the sky to clear." He has obviously hurt her, but he is also hurt, possibly by a past love that has left him scarred. So 'talking to the tears' is thinking about how he is hurt, but also how he has hurt her. She doesn't want him to 'wait for the sky to clear' because she thinks she can help him get over his past and what has hurt him, and if he waits for everything to be perfect before he comes back, he may never come back. |
