This song is soooo good. It's definitely about abortion and exposing the controversy around abortions. It definitely chimes in on the rhetorical question "when does life begin?" "I cant tell you the difference between An embryo or a planted seed" "So many shades of white, So many shades of pale." Really there is a gray area in the actual beginning or, "creation" of life, more directly concerning humans and our "sacred" blood; a debate arising over different beliefs. I also feel that this song is a blatant "Fuck You" to the christian god: "You're innocent at birth Until you understand", "They put you to use or put you to sleep" " |

| First of all, this song has such a sweet melody to it. It has a healing effect, so lush and eloquent. The lyrics deal with a youth in conflict with what sounds like authority or even religion. "I try to leave/ but my bones just won't agree". I get the sense of the singer feeling too old in their shoes maybe dealing with this emotional dilemma or unwanted accountability: "get me ready to meet all the people I thought I knew/...memory has mistaken me/...can't remember the last time I felt so incredibly young." RealIzing the situation; they just want to be let go, to get the weight of the world off their back, find their well being or "home", and be set free. Amazing amazing amazing song. | |

| I think this song is about feeling alone and misunderstood in general. Pretty straightforward lyrics. This song has such an infectious grove to it! Phantogram make awesome tunes. | |
