Here's what Paul had to say:-
“Broken” was a song I wrote at a time I kind of got a little ahead of myself and kind of thought myself to be bigger than what I was. “Broken” is kind of like my theme song for myself to be humble, appreciate where I am and not forget where I came from. It’s basically an anthem of I need to be broken back down to my purist form. It’s an anti-egotistical song, I guess you could say. |

I love all the 12 Stones song because I can relate to them, just in my own ways. I think there are different ways you can intrepret them to help make yourself feel better... I find that anyway. This is a GREAT song. Favorite line is: Will you deny me, when we meet again? |

I can't believe no one has commented on this song... it's really amazing, I love it... especially the part near to the end where Billie Joe sings, "another sentimental argument and bitter love" over and it's all quiet, i love how his voice sounds there a lot :) |

I LOVE this song... it's probably my favorite at the moment... I can't stop listening to it. I love these lyrics and I see nothing wrong with them. It's a part of life, probably people can relate to and to me it's doesn't seem to be like pro-drugs or anything, it talks about all the negative things and everything. Just commenting on that as some close minded people might have problems with the song words... Even my mother feels the same. It's a part of real life rather people want to know about it or not, you can't really ignore it and remain blind. I love realistic lyrics people can relate too much more than sugar coated lovey dovey ones to be honest... Sorry I'm expanding a bit from this song, but anyhoo... I love to talk and share opinions :D |

This is my favorite song in the world... I don't know why but I've always loved it. I say I love it so much I want to marry it, lol. I feel it's a really positive happy song about moving on in life even if you don't know what's going to come tomorrow, yknow go with the flow... |
