I love EclecticChapel's interp but I dont think its what this song is about (dead on anyway). To me, it sounds more like an homage to her tour and shows. She is comparing the experience she/they/we feel/felt when we're all together celebrating something (i.e. a concert).. and in a very cute way, comparing that to the love and security and celebration felt in a sacred place by those followers. I did think however how a person with AIDS would relate to singing a line such as "my blood is pure".. which is why EclecticChapel's views on it could make a little sense. Spinning it as a song with the message of safe sex could prove to make it even more useful! |

i definitely would like to think this song isnt about Britney Spears as I hold Gaga in a much higher regard than that when it comes to her song writing and original "vomit" moment. I feel like the term Black Jesus always seems to stir up controversy so I think alot of that had to do with the title and lyric, but I do agree with bbydee which stated: this song is simply about spirituality and how putting on a new spirit is easy as putting on a new outfit. altho i think nothing gaga writes as "simply" :) |

| lol i can almost hear what youre saying but the F and the G are definitely not heard. I like to think that some very creative people, or person, mightve altered the words BadKid to sound a little like F*gg*t as a way to make reference something else for the song.. and id be gag's faggot anyday.. but i certainly dont think thats what was said when recording time came... | |

| I almost feel like this song was written in the perspective and from her LMs and the verses could very well be things she's heard them say to her, as children and young people of today's suppression. And then the chorus is her response. It almost even sounds like it could be a duet between lovers. Its amazing. | |
