Kinda childish if I must say. Even though there are people that listen to Asking Alexandria,not all of them are Atheist. I listen to Asking Alexandria but I believe in god. SO kinda fucked up what he said there. My grand,other overheard me speaking about the song and got pretty pissed. I mean, she's OVERLY religious and I can't blame her. it's fucked up what he said. I honestly don't listen to Morte Et Dabo for the lyrics, anymore. Much more for the sound of the song. If the song sounded EXACTLY the same but with different words, then yeah, it would be even better. But don't fuck with god or other people's religions. That's just fucked up. |

Danny has become a drunk, a druggie, etc. He went to rehab for a while which cause his girlfriend to break up with him. She also had a miscarriage so Danny was ALL fucked up. BUT once he got out he was doing just fine.During the making of Reckless And Relentless, he started up again. That's why it's titled "A Lesson Never Learned" He eventually realizes that his problem is starting up again but it's too late for him. People have given up on him. That's why he's begging for help.
"And I can't feel this pain anymore
And I can't carry on this way
I'm hiding behind false eyes" is actually a REALLY deep, sad, and touching part. he's saying he'll just drink and do drugs to hide up the pain he feels....

Beautiful song. It's speaking about his mother. He's telling her that he loves her more than anything and that he's sorry for doing bad in his life. He's letting her know that he's okay and that he can make it on his own but he'll never forget that somewhere, his mom is out there supporting him even after all he's said and done. I mean, its a mother. A mother can never hate their child regardless of the thing's they've done. |

AMAZING beginning. This song is basically his life with a girl. At the beginning, the girl speaks. She's obviously speaking on the phone. To who? Well, could be anyone, really. I guess they're saying that Danny knows that she's been cheating. It's basically like an instrumental opera. The music in the beginning is showing the struggles they go through after he calls her. The arguing and getting angry but at one point Danny get's pissed and yells out "Fuck This" Like, he can't take it anymore. She's not worth it. So he damns her. He hopes she dies. Which is PRETTY funny. xD |
