this song is absolutley amazing......i believe it is about someone who tries and tries to make himself believe that he does not really love the one he is obviously in love. she has everything he needs and has got him close to falling but he keeps trying to prevent it and it does not work. i can relate to this.... |

I really don't see it as a break-up song. I have to agree with the long distance comments. Look at the lyrics. "The way you make me feel". As in present tense. If it was for a break up I would assume they would have used made instead of make. Also "quit your crying and wipe the tears from your eyes. This is see you later, I'm not into goodbyes". He's coming back her or she to him. It's not goodbye. And I can relate to this. I'm in the Air Force, as is my husband. He's stationed half a country away from where I'm at. |
