yeah i agree i fouund god through u2 music a truly amazing band 40 is a powerful prayer ..you can say what ya like about them but a least their honest...and dont make money outa singing about shooting people and sexual violence..like some other so called "musicians " |

it was never one of my favorite u2 songs although im a christian and love the lyrics...however after seeing and hearing the version they do at the end of "U2 live in chicago the vertigo tour " DVD i have to say im blown away..check it out im sure its on u tube..as for the meaning its obvious its psalm 40 which is a powerful prayer for protection against evil |
