To me this song kinda tells a story in a way. To me he's saying he sees a woman smiling but although everyone else doesn't see it he can see right through the forced smile. He is able to see the pain through the smile. this woman that he sees has been through a lot in her life but she still she is able to show a smile through all the hurt that shes been through. He sees that she is a beautiful woman inside and out, but her significant other doesn't see what they are doing to her. And hes asking himself why does this person do that to her and how can they break this woman heart when all she want is their love. It says to me realize what you have and don't take your loved one for granted. that's just my interpretation it could be different from others. |
