| I think this song is about a girl with an eating disorder. Because of the title, obviously, but there's also more hints to it throughout the song. "Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer." I think implies bulimia maybe. "Suckle on the hope in light brassieres." Maybe saying how she hopes to have smaller clothes. I don't know, maybe I'm going crazy? haha | |

I don't think anyone mentioned this, but I believe "And I have learned That even landlocked lovers yearn For the sea like navy men" is relating back to Transatlanticism because that was about lovers who are separated by the Atlantic Ocean, and this is about landlocked lovers. I also think the song is about growing up and coming to new realizations, hence why he's saying that he has now learned... Love this song and DCfC. |
