| In "We Jam Econo" Mike Watt said that he was thinking about songwriting, and unsure about writing songs with heavy policital lyrics and intense ramifications that weren't very "musical". He loved Bob Dylan's lyrics (the only lyrics he paid real attention to as a kid), so he figured that he'd be alright because Bob Dylan wrote propaganda songs. Hence the title of the song.
