| The Saddest Landscape – The Sixth Golden Ticket Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| 2 and a half years later and I'm still loving this song. I wish I could forget it so I could be as shocked by Andy screaming "And I don't want to miss you any more" as I was the first time. | |

Real lyrics: And I will wait And I will wait for you to call or come home I will wait, thinking only good things I will wait And I will wait And I will wait for you to call or come home I will wait, thinking only good things I will wait (I will wait) And I will wait And I will wait for you And I will wait for you to call or come home I will wait, thinking only good things I will wait I will wait And I will wait This is the last time I will wait This is the last time And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today And everything will be all right today (I will wait) And everything will be all right today (I will wait) And everything will be all right today (For you to call or come home) And everything will be all right today (I will wait) And everything will be all right today (Thinking only the good things) And everything will be all right today (I will wait) And everything will be all right today (For you to call or come home) And everything will be all right today (I will wait) And everything will be all right today (Thinking only the good things) |

| Cake – Daria Lyrics | 13 years ago |

I think this is a song all about how a girl tries her hardest to get him out of his pit of self-despair. But, it never works. "When you tried to kiss me I only bit your tongue." ~She gave him love, he gave her pain "When you tried to get me together I only came undone." ~Any attempts to cheer him up only annoyed him "When you tried to tell me The one for me was you, I was in your mattress back in 1982." ~He was desperate for someone to love that as soon as he heard she loved him; an exaggeration of being so quick, he went back in time. "Daria, I won't be soothed. Daria, I won't be soothed over like, Smoothed over like milk, Silk, a bedspread, or a quilt, Icing on a cake, Or a serene translucent lake." ~He has little faith that she can ever fix him. He's not easily changeable like water, or able to be manipulated to one's desire like all the things he mentions. "When you tried to tell me Of all the love you had, I was cleaning oil from beaches Seeing only what was bad." ~She keeps trying to prove she loves him, but he's only looking at all the horrible messes he has to clean up in his life. "When you tried to feed me I only shut my mouth. Food got on your apron And you told me to get out." ~After some time, with all of her efforts of trying to be nice, and he just shoves them all back in her face as if her words meant nothing. |

| Trophy Scars – Lesson 3 Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
"You see you don’t need to change things Things change themselves From metal to gold From raindrops to snow It just so happens That the snow will change us all Ironic how these bones can’t handle the fall" This part of the song seems to say how things just happen, sometimes we don't have control over it. We can't change what has already happened, but it changes us, so we don't make the same mistake again. It's ironic because we're meant to handle our mistakes because they are supposed to make us better, but we end up regretting instead of growing. |

| Lady Danville – Bed 42 Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
It's a lot like the proverb: "For want of a nail the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe the horse was lost. For want of a horse the rider was lost. For want of a rider the message was lost. For want of a message the battle was lost. For want of a battle the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horseshoe nail." The person on the song believes that missing that bus had huge consequences. This symbolizes that one shouldn't wait to tell someone you love them, because someone else might beat you to it: "I bought a rose, but you had a bouquet." |

| I like the old version a bit more than the new one. More emotion. | |

"We're eating ice cream at the dicks You let it drip all down your chin You want me to lick it off" There's a slight problem... Other than that. This is a good song! |
