| I have Ulcerative Colitis - which is the sister disease to Crohn's. I had to have my entire large intestine removed after 33 days in the hospital. This disease came out of no where to me and my boyfriend of two years left me during it. This song really hit home because there aren't many people who understand what it is like to poop bloody diarrhea and not being able to make it to the bathroom - it isn't your typical first date topic, yet it is such a huge part of who we are. While it doesn't define us, it does have an affect on our lives. I feel for ya Daryl. I wonder "Why" sometimes too. | |
