Thank you! Your lyrics seem pretty accurate. Especially compared to the piece of shit that was posted. Every website has extremely humorous lyrics for ohGr. I do think he says, "What's up their sleeves just out of the way?" And I don't even have any better suggestions for the other parts that are still questionable to me. So thanks! |

I believe the "road less traveled" part is referencing Robert Frost's poem, "The Road Not Taken." The last stanza of that poem: "I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I– I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." The reader can't tell if the "sigh" is of relief/accomplishment or distress or if "the difference" is good or bad. Also, earlier in the poem, Frost mentions that he likely won't go back to the fork in the road to change his mind and choose the other path. In reference to this, Katy is saying that she's chosen her path and set in her ways, but she's not sure if it's good or bad. Even so, she is determined to "get there" and make it to the end. |

Am I the only one that thinks this song is literally about a whore? Whores don't mean much because there is no love involved. They're just there for the physical aspect of sex without the commitment or the emotional attachment. This girl was a bit clueless and naive about the sex industry at first. She hardly even knew how to have sex, which is why she was catatonic the first time he had her. He's gone back to her now that she's become more experienced in the atrocities of the sex industry (which is why she's a mess now). And this time she's, "so much better than before." |
