| I'm pretty sure AceIsGnarly was not trying to say they know everything about ADTR, just that living in the area you catch wind of stuff. We gotta be civil here, and not attack people or put them down just because of their point of view. | Its hard to defend either side: the betrayer or the betrayed. Sometimes the betrayed does something that deserves being betrayed over, and yet, in a general view, its wrong to turn your back. I've been in a situation where something VERY wrong was going down, and I HAD to betray friends to stand up for what was right and make my own point clear. Maybe Jeremy is trying to not be blamed, but doesn't want to get the person he's protecting in trouble either -Don't point your finger baby, this isn't the best time for you to test me "This wasn't just anyone here" she said "And if it wasn't you it's someone you would lie for. Who would you lie for?"- It sounds like she knows someone was there when she wasn't and she's trying to figure out who it was, but he keeps lieing to protect whoever/whatever he's keeping from her. | I'm quite new to ADTR, but I've caught that theme of being able to drift. Alot of bands have specific meanings attached to their songs, but this band is different. For me, this song is a romantic one about seperation and the guy finally coming home to his girl in the end. It reminds me of situation with my boyfriend. He's gone alot, but I'm always waiting for him, and its fabulous when he does come home. :) | |

Personally, I believe this song was meant for anyone who's dealing with distances. My boyfriend is gone anywhere from 10-30 days at a time. Sometimes we can't text or call. This song is helping me to stay strong, and wait patiently: I know you can't give me what I need And even though you mean so much to me I can't wait through everything Is this really happening? My boy quite often can't be there for me, even though I know he's trying. Sometimes I feel like I'm being strong for nothing and want to end it. I swear I'll never be happy again And don't you dare say we can just be friends I'm not some boy that you can sway We knew it'd happen eventually This part makes me think of his love for me. I know we couldn't be friends if we broke up. Thats life... But the last line makes me think the he's finally got all his stuff done and he's coming home to her. "We knew it'd happen eventually", well he's finally coming back because everyone is singing. Its a romantic song. |
