According to Brad from Dispatch, this song is about a drug kingpin named Beto. Apparently his cocaine was so pure that he got the nickname "Beto the Pure". I guess the story goes that Beto was in a shootout and promised that if he survived he would get out of the business forever, and he did.

According to Chad, this song is about a friend of the bands named Larry. Larry was born with a medical condition where he couldn't speak or walk. Apparently, the government took Larry from his family to send him on a mission to space at the objection of his mother. Little did they know that Larry was an adrenaline junkie and expressed his love for his journey with his eyes.

I heard Chad do a commentary for this track, basically the song is a metaphor for death. It's sung from the perspective of a leaf hanging on a tree and how it's waited all its life to let go and fly.
