You can give a very convincing realistic one way explanation to any song, connect it with singer's private life events, but it is not songs are written for. If a singer was just singing herself out in this way, it would be too selfish for being art. this song is really very vage, misterious, hard to understand, it shows very well how hard it is sometimes to understand another's feelings, and sometimes you cannot even explain your own feeling to yourself, can't express them in the terms of the language. It also reminds me of the feeling you have after some dream - you don't remember its content, only sense something that quickly goes away and when you try to revive it, it is only further broken into unpercievable pieces |
