this song is awesome, actually is about loving someone, who doesn´t know you love him. (maybe he does maybe he doesn´t) some months ago I could totally identify with this song, cause I was in love with a friend of mine (to be more specific and even more complicated an exchange student)and we were really close, we liked each other but we didn´t talkabout it, then he started going out with another friend (who is aN easy girl but a great person) nd I was so sad, I felt exactly like this... FINALLY some weeks ago (when they have already broken up a while ago I told him, how I used to feel and that I wnted to move on cause he was leaving and everything, he told me he felt the same about me and he understood why I wanted to move on and that he was so SORRY) It was the best thing I could´ve done, honestly no regrets... (eveyone should tell the true to the one you love) (: we started being as close as we used to, and ....over a week ago he told me he was feeling exactly the same as when we came clean, he just needed to tell me again, we talked (I recorded our conversation shhh ,lol so sweat) we kissed, we are on something now he has come home a lot since then, we have gone out, we feel so comfortable around each other (yes I´m in love) .. now he is leaving in one month, I don´t understand why he told me, I guess we deserved this little time. okteds: love your interpretation! So, I like a quiet time, please Yeah, I like a quiet time I think that in this part he/she is admitting that he/she knows that being with her/him makes him/her feel wrong, so he/she asks her/him please to let him/her go, but this part of him/her isn´t as strong as the part that wants to be with her/him In my opinion this song is about someone (why not a girl? ) in love with a guy, but he is not sure about his feelings for her. So the girl feel safe with him, because she likes to be with him. I think that she is telling the situation, how she feels and while she is doing she realizes she is not allright.. If you read the lyrics you will see that at first it saids "I´m allright, I´m allright.. and the I´m allright and then nothing" I think that she is asking herself if she wants to continue that way and by thinking about it she realizes that she is not allright.. so she is saying "Carefull where you stand" |

But if you never try you'll never know Just what you're worth I think this part is amazing, in my opinion this song is about loveing someone, even though you know you can´t be with him/her, but you must keep trying. Every time I hear this song a little storie comes to my mind about two people that loved each other, but for some reason life separated them, so he/she is blue and doesn´t know if he/she wants to move on at all... |

I´m going threw this same situation. I think that she has been a good friend of the boy, but their friendship was special better than others. They could understand their secrets, and tell each other everything, they knew they were in love but he never realized it. So she is really bad, thinking why is he with that other girl? and she blames herself for not telling him, but she can´t move on until she talks with him, because she knows that there was something between them. His girlfriend is the popular girl, the easy one, (you know what I mean) I think that in this song she is also talking how boys prefer the easy ones. the name of the songs means everything "YOU BELONG WITH ME" she is screaming in her head that, but she is waiting that he see it as well. hey you may thing that I´m totally crazy but I need your help please. there is this gay I love, he is actually the first gay I´ve ever loved, and we were feeling something, everyone could notice. The problem is that we never told each other, and I left for 2 months. When I came back, he was with this girl that always told him that she liked him, and he was feeling alone, cause he doesn´t live here.
