The first Amon Amarth song I listened to, and therefore, of course, one of my alltime favorite by them - true power musically and the lyrics are really brutal and they paint a perfect picture of what it's like to be a Viking. Some errors here and there in the lyrics though, as mentioned before; "Throw your swords to (the) sky!" should be "Draw your swords to strike" "Like a cowardice they run" should be "Ride them down as they run" "Over the field and fear the sound, As we hear the ravens cry" should be "Over the field an eerie sound, As we hear the raven's cry" Pro tip, and really off topic; Amon Amarth + Working out at the gym = Magic for the muscles... |
