| Definitely about the state of America's prisons. Dave's commentary about rape being part of being in prison is worthwhile including because it is a reality. However, it is not part of the sentence, like it might be in some other less free countries. Never heard a prison sentence stated by a judge in which the accused is sentenced to "repeated rape and life without parole". Rape in our prisons is one of great shames of our prison system. Not sure if Dave is implicitly criticising it, approving of it, or just commenting about the current state of affairs. | |
