| Nah man, Millenium Dodo refers to someone who was the 'idiot' of the era. Dodo means someone who is out of fashion, dead, passed away... And thats why he mentions Gangstarr, Eyedea and the other one who died. They died because they did drugs and other stupid shit aka dodo. Also, it talks about drunk driving a lot and smoking weed. "Cotton mouth" from the lyric says about weed. dunno. | |

You are all wrong, I think. This has to be about a romantic relationship. "all my friends are like just let her leave" "I gave you the best of me" So now it is up to you to relate this to Lucy... In my understanding he set Lucy free.... He did the best he could to keep using lucy in his latter art after lucy ford. And now he is making a statement. OR I could totally wrong and just be about a romantic relationship he had with a woman. |

I don't understand how no one has commented on this. It's by far one of the most lyrically developed songs in the album. My interpretation is very simple... It touches very different topics... but mainly it talks about 'someone' that is long gone for doing stupid stuff. It is clear the song is talking about drunk driving and dealing with fake money, paying precisely with fake money. I think it mentions eyedea at the end because of the fact that he was doing drugs, and it could be considered as something stupid to do. However I would really like to know what he says in hte beginning of the song... its backwards i think. Anyuways hope it helps. |
