***REAL MEANING ACCORDING TO THE BAND*** i got this from the comments on the music video... a member of the band posted this. @21Skillet21 This is not a shot at religion...its a shot at ignorance and corruption associated with religion. We are not against people who are spiritual or believe in God. For today are our best friends, and the song Arm The Masses is something that we both have in common. A youth minister posted this one: @strayfromthepath: I've read a lot of comments and it's interesting to see your views on faith vs. religion. I'm a youth minister working full time at a church, so you would think that would put us at odds since I'm part of the "religion machine." But we actually want very similar things. I try to teach my teens that faith isn't following the church, it's following Christ. And Christ loved the "wrong people" so much that the "right people" killed Him for it. THAT should be what we're called to. |
