| Tom Petty – Mary Jane's Last Dance Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
I think alot of great songs can mean something different to everyone. Some thoughts I gather here are: But she grew up tall and she grew up right(I'd want my plants to grow tall and right) Well, she moved down here at the age of 18(18 is a general "age" at which it's often considered okay to smoke) She blew the boys away, was more than they'd seen(Strong weed blows your mind) One more time to kill the pain(Nuff said) OR, you're going through a separation/divorce, but you want to dance one more time to remember good things. |

| Every man dies alone. I feel that this song is a reflection of that. | |
| Don Henley – The Boys of Summer Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| This song tends to make me think of the movie "The Great Outdoors." This song doesn't fit the movie exactly, but the concept is there when the boy tells this girl he's got to leave to go back home with his family/parents. | |
| Neil Young – Are You Ready for The Country? Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| One feeling that I get from this song is to not procrastinate. This stems from the line "You gotta tell your story before it's time to go." | |
| Death Cab for Cutie – Someday You Will Be Loved Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| The inevitable natures of humankind. If we screw up, we have to deal with what comes our way. Sometimes we know we screwed up, and have not much of a choice other than to offer what little fix attempts we can. | |
| Billy Joel – Piano Man Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I'm not trying to define every lyric, but one thing that I get from the song is a "no ambition" kinda feel. | |
