| The first part of the song represents her in her present state reflecting and admitting she a fool for this person! The second represent when she first started feeling for him and realizing she was blind to what he was doing. When she says "built up wall ten feet tall" this is the wall she had to tear down to let him in. I always read lyric sheets that says "leave out the latch for you"! It makes more sense to say "leave off the latch for you"! The last part to me represents what I think a lot of us do when we are desperate to get over someone... go to church, get saved, anything to get that person off of our minds... anything to feel normal again... and go crazy in the process. Powerful song!!!! | |
