The lyrics are all wrong up there. It sounds like this dude she's with is in a rut of some sort, but think he's got it figured out. For some reason I think alcohol abuse (so what do you you expect from me/to hold your head above the seat (toliet), and carry you, even though you bigger/but don't you know you crushed my tiny figure/) Dude's a drunk she has to take care of him- a shadow of the man he could have been. |

She says "way too sure" for me- not 'way too short'. The whole song is about dudes coming at her acting like they all that. Be genuine, be yourself, that's what she's attracted to. |

I just got into JM a few years ago....I had his stuff on my IPOD, and was slowly getting into his stuff. So one day on shuffle, this song comes on....and these lyrics hit me Had a talk with my old man said help me understand He said turn 68 You'll renegotiate My pop had just turned 68 a few weeks prior. It was a reality check. The emotion in his voice around this part got me too...I got a little teary eyed. Like he says in the song- as you get older,appreciate where you are. My parents' friends are starting to die off. It's a scary thought, but that's the train of life, people hop aboard at the same time other's are falling off. It's reality, but it does suck. |

| I agree with jcodys- the lyrics are great. He made the best of the sitauation and still cranked out a lyrically interesting album even if the sound is bubble gum (on most of the songs). There are some authentic Lupe tracks on the album. | |
