Not going to give a full reply, but I will say one thing. You were very close with Brain Damage. It's actually about former Pink Floyd member Syd Barrett. He had a mental illness that made him have to leave the band. That is the brain damage they're talking about. Eclipse is talking about the similarities with all humans, and how we all contradict ourselves. Not quite that simple, but that's the general idea. |

its about kurt!!!! no just kidding i think all the comments so far pretty much nail it...i just said that cause im tired of everyone thinking every ff song is about kurt, even when dave himself says their not lol....but this (so far) is my fav of the new album |

I think most of the lyrics are good...maybe a few are off...aside from that this song is incredible!!! and probably the most epic/funny video ive ever seen haha |

watch the documentary before you start guessing...dave himself says that its about relationships in his past where he said to himself "i should have known that was going to happen"...and those of you saying its about kurt and jimmy, even if you say your not one of "those guys that says every foo song is about kurt"...your a hypocrite because you just did... i dont think dave has written any songs directly attributed to kurt...most popular misconception is Let It Die...he says in an interview that that song is NOT about kurt at all...thousands of songs by thousands of artists could be applied to kurt, but do you think they all wrote about him?...just because a FF song loosely connects to kurt cobain, does not mean its about him....sheesh |
