It's about a young boy being drafted and fighting in WW2. All the lyrics are pretty obvious, becoming a monster, drafted by the ones you trust, feeling wrong about killing, even though it's for the greater good. Great song. I think the last line is about seeing the person you're killing as a person and realizing what you've done. Great song I <3 YTG. |

I think it's got to do with getting high off cough syrup, or at least something like that. Life's too short to care, so he's getting high and enjoying himself. The zombies and the fishes staring at him is probably people looking down on him for what he's doing. The dark world looking for a splash of the sun and the wet world waiting for the drum is probably him coming down and wanting more, and coming up out of the blue is him getting higher. But I think Bambri also is right about him feeling down about life, and he's trying to figure out how to fix his mistakes. Just my thoughts on the song. Love this band so much. :3 |
